Many congratulations to our undergraduate research assistant Abby Jackson for the successful presentation of her Honors Thesis to her committee and the public on April 25th. Her research “Water availability effects on the vertical distribution of nematode trophic groups in soil” showed how changes in growing-season precipitation will affect the distribution of nematode populations through the soil profile in a shortgrass steppe. Abby excelled in the planning and execution of her research project. The Wall lab is very pleased with the experience of working with her during the past 4 years and proud of her upcoming graduation as a University Honors Scholar! We wish Abby plenty of success as she moves on to bigger and better things in her career!
